Vice President, Patent Analysis
Bita Mortazavi is Vice President of Patent Analysis at RPX Corporation. She leads Patent Analysis operations and manages a team of experts handling technical analysis of pre and post litigation matters. Prior to joining RPX in 2012, Ms. Mortazavi held various technical positions at Verizon Wireless, based in New Jersey for about 8 years. In her earlier roles she helped optimize performance of platforms and infrastructures providing nationwide data coverages. She later moved to define requirements for OEMs seeking approval to release their devices using Verizon’s cellular network and eventually held a Senior Solutions Architect position where she designed and developed data services geared for enterprise customers on top of Verizon’s 3G and 4G LTE networks. In those assignments she developed a deep understanding of all aspects of cellular connectivity and worked with major cellular infrastructure and device OEMs in the industry.
Bita Mortazavi received her MS in Computer Science and Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and her BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran. She is a registered patent agent before the US Patent & Trademark Office.
