Director, Client Relations
Tim O’Brien is Director of Client Relations at RPX Corporation. Prior to joining RPX in 2022, Mr. O’Brien was a practicing attorney for nearly 10 years, first at Latham & Watkins LLP and then at Green, Griffith & Borg-Breen LLP. As an attorney, Mr. O’Brien practiced primarily in patent litigation, representing clients in high-stakes disputes concerning a variety of technology sectors, including telecommunications, mobile devices, solar cells, hybrid vehicles, data systems, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.
Mr. O’Brien received his JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in Urbana-Champaign, and his BA in Chemical Engineering, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
